STIWA stands for Sticht Walter, the company's founder, who started over 50 years ago with a clear vision: automation as the key to quality and efficiency.
What began as a pioneering achievement in industrial automation developed over decades into an international technology group with locations in Europe, America and Asia.
Value creation in perfection
With STIWA Manufacturing, we have been manufacturing products on our own high-performance systems for many years – always with the goal of developing and producing every product with automation in mind. Our depth of added value is unique: additive manufacturing, component assembly, punching, machining, laser welding, and injection molding – all in-house. This combination of development expertise and vertical integration forms the foundation for our own product innovations.
The next logical step: Smalox
With STIWA Advanced Products GmbH, we're opening the next chapter: We develop and produce our own scalable products, which are manufactured on STIWA automation systems. An outstanding example of this is Smalox – a wireless, battery-free, and digital locking system based on NFC technology. Smalox represents the fusion of engineering excellence, sustainability, and digital simplicity.

Wherever safety and comfort are required, but batteries and wiring are a nuisance, Smalox offers the sustainable alternative.
