- No batteries: SMALOX requires no batteries, eliminating hazardous waste. This protects the environment and reduces resource consumption.
- No tangled cables: SMALOX works without cables. It uses the power from your smartphone, making it cleaner and less complicated to use.
- Less waste: By eliminating batteries, SMALOX significantly reduces the environmental footprint.
- Easy management: access authorisations can be changed quickly and easily via software, without the need to replace physical keys.
- Multiple access methods: Access can be granted by smartphone app.
- No need to carry keys: Users do not need to carry physical keys, which is particularly convenient.
- Remote access: Access can be granted or revoked remotely, which is useful in emergencies or for temporary access.
- Reduced key replacement costs: if an electronic access token or PIN code is lost, there is no need to install a new lock.

- Logging: Electronic locks can record who has entered a locker and when, increasing traceability and security.
- High security: SMALOX P01 is a passive locking system that is only activated when it is powered by a smartphone. Without this activation, the lock remains "mute" and cannot be manipulated.
Software
The Smalox P01 always requires the corresponding APP for operation.
There are three options:
- Free SMALOX App (standalone version without cloud connection)
- SMALOX Enterprise App with the fee-based Enterprise management software and cloud connection
- SMALOX Enterprise App with the Enterprise Premium management software and cloud connection
